Famille Verte Foo Dog with Chinese Imperial Reign Mark

This is an extremely rare foo dog with a chinese reign mark made sometime during the Qing dynasty.I have never seen a foo dog with an imperial reign mark before like this and dont know the exact age. This was purchased from an estate of a world traveler. In remarkably good condition for its age. Please look at all pictures. The last picture shows inside the foo dog mouth where you can see where the bulging eyes were attached and you can see the dangling porcelain that is holding the eyes in place. I believe this is because the eyes are free floating but have not tried to move them. The glaze is sancai. Please note that where the statue sits on its porcelain base the base has a small hole near the foo dog's back bottom and probably was made like this. You cannot see the hole on the base unless you pick the foo dog up and look where his bottom is touching the base. In all my years of researching foo dogs i have never come across one like this. The reign mark is blue on white porcelain. A real beauty. I believe in the 20th century it was converted into a lamp but the conversion does not affect the foo dog. This is 13 1/2 tall with base.
