Sancai Foo Dog with Joss Stick, 14 inches tall

This sancai glaze foo dog was made during the Qing dynasty. The eyes are bulging. The statue is 14 inches tall without the stand and 17 inches tall with base. Base is not removable. This item was made into a lamp in the 20th century and if you want to revert it back into a lamp i can send the metal parts. You will notice that i have shown how you can use the dragon finial if you wish to leave it as a statue. I prefer it as a statue because the heat from the lamp might damage the statue. But that is my opinion if you use it as a lamp you could use a 50 watt bulb to be safe.

There are several unique things to notice about this foo dog. 1. Check out the amazing detail of the pup. His teeth shows amazing details and his tongue is painted red. Such details are only seen in extraordinary foo dogs. 2. The size is 14 inches which gives this foo dog a grand appearance. 3. The joss stick along with the sancai glaze makes this foo dog one of the best foo dogs i have seen in a long time.
