Early Kutani Crouching Shishi dog
Vintage from the 1900s
This is an impressive signed Kutani shishi dog, foo dog. It is about 7 inches tall. 8 inches long and about 7 inches wide. This is an earlier shishi dog based on its base. Please see picture. Please see painted red tongue and also notice this is a crouching lion. In perfect condition. This item is from the late Meiji or early taisho period.
