Volkstedt Jasperware 1883 Plaque
Vintage from the 19th century
This Volkstedt plaque is marked on the back 1883. This is a known Volkstedt plaque even though it does not have the Volkstedt trademark and this is because it was made before 1890s when a country of origin was not required. This plaque is very large and measures 13 inches round. There is a minute flake on the rabbit's foot but you have to look hard to see it. Other than that in perfect condition.
As a note the most common volkstedt (starburst) trademark found on volkstedt plaques were made from 1894 to 1900.
